Who we are

The Kidney Support Network (KSN) is a charitable community organisation founded in 1981. The Association is managed by a voluntary Board of Management and is based in Brisbane with branches throughout the state. View our list of branches.

What we do

Our services include advocacy, information and referral, patient and family support, accommodation service, equipment service, education grants, emergency assistance, and social and holiday programs.

We work closely with hospital staff to ensure patient comfort and liaise with organisations with similar objectives. The Queensland Renal Association Incorporated receives a small grant from Queensland Health to cover administration only.

All of our services are funded by the fundraising efforts of our voluntary membership, donations, bequests and corporate sponsorship. Special projects are from time-to-time fun.
